Our solar screens come with different Openness Factors. The openness factor is the key that decides how much light can pass through the screen.

Our most popular screens that we carry are NATTE 4500 with a 14% openness factor. Occasionally, when a darker interior space is desired, SATINE 5500 with a 6% openness factor is available as well.

NATTE 4500 is our most popular solar screen. They have an openness factor of 14% which blocks out at least 85% of UV light, but still provides great visibility to the outside.

 

 

 

They are engineered for exterior application and are flame-resistant and rot proof.

 

 

 

Satine 5500 solar screens come with an openness factor of 6%. That makes it the right choice for occasions when more light-blockage is desired. While the visibility is greatly reduced with these screens, they block out more light than NATTE screens, and provide greater glare reduction. However, except in some extreme occasions, Natte 4500 is more than sufficient to provide efficient shading.

 

Just like Natte 4500, Satine 5500 screens are engineered for exterior application and are flame-resistant and rot proof.
